It is led by Beau Clark, P.E., a Professional Engineer licensed in Texas. The firm pairs professional engineering judgment with a practical, owner-focused approach.
Beau Clark, P.E., founded Fringe Industries and is a Professional Engineer licensed in Texas in petroleum engineering. He has spent more than 18 years in engineering and finance roles at upstream oil and gas companies and investment firms. He is currently Executive Vice President of Engineering at Live Oak Resource Partners in Houston, where he leads technical work on acquisitions and divestitures, prospect evaluation, and data analytics tools for evaluations. Earlier, he was Executive Vice President at Barton Creek Resources, CFO and Vice President of Engineering at Champion Lone Star, a private equity-backed Permian operator, and a buy-side upstream analyst at The Mitchell Group. He began his career at Cabot Oil & Gas (now Coterra) in production, operations, and reservoir engineering. Beau earned a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering with a minor in Mathematics and a Master of Engineering in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University. He holds certificates in Reserves and Evaluation and in Asset Management and Economics.
