BetterScreenClipper is a Mac app for taking screenshots, marking them up, and recording the screen with sound from your apps and your microphone.

Common questions

• Screenshots or recordings are blank or the app can’t see the screen. Open System Settings > Privacy & Security > Screen & System Audio Recording, turn on BetterScreenClipper, then quit and reopen the app.
• My voice isn’t in the recording. Open System Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone and turn on BetterScreenClipper, and make sure microphone recording is turned on in the app.
• Where are my files saved? By default, screenshots go to your Pictures folder and recordings to your Movies folder. You can choose different folders in the app’s settings.
